To facilitate mutual care, her parents and younger brother have chosen to move in with her. Inspired by daily life and to meet the diverse living needs of her family, she opted for a clean and minimalist style in the design of her new home. She used a simple and timeless spatial layout and high-quality home furnishings to present an ultimate sense of simplicity, creating an orderly and efficient home life.

        In terms of color scheme, the entire house uses black, white, and gray as the main colors, creating a simple, classic, and timeless look. The minimalist functional furniture presents an ultimate sense of simplicity; the storage cabinets in varying shades combine practicality and aesthetics, giving the space a comfortable, relaxing, and therapeutic feel.

        The first floor is mainly planned and laid out based on daily living needs and the ideas of family members. Elderly parents and active children need a wide view and a large space. Therefore, in terms of space planning, more open space is left for daily activities to avoid bumps and knocks.

        The living room features double windows that let in ample natural light. The flooring, made of 1500x750mm premium-sized Pupes grey rock slabs from Guanzhu, further enhances the bright and spacious feel. Combined with a no-main-light design, this creates a light, airy, comfortable, and relaxing living space. By simplifying the soft furnishings and maximizing storage, the entire living room design adheres to a minimalist lifestyle philosophy. Large areas of white space are used, retaining only a simple, functional sofa, coffee table, and black cabinets for easy storage of various items. By forgoing a feature wall and a television, the decluttered space satisfies the family's desire for a minimalist style while filling the living room with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

        The blank spaces allow life to fill them. Homeowner Ms. Chen connected the balcony with the living room, moving the dining area to another zone, creating a spacious activity area. The crisscrossing lines and textures, under the absence of a main light, interpret the essence of a minimalist space, bringing a sense of visual expansiveness and providing a more comfortable space experience for mothers cooking for the family.
